Storica residenza Veneziana sorge vicino all'antico
monastero della Madonna del Pero a Monastier,
piccola cittadina situata nella zona delle
ville Venete fra Venezia e treviso.
La Villa costruita intorno alla metà dell'Ottocento
in classico stile Veneto è diventata famosa
durante la grande guerra per la presenza illustre
di Ernest Hemingway. Qui il grande scrittore
prese spunto per alcuni dei suoi più famosi
romanzi e scelse Monastier di treviso per
ricevere il battesimo.
The historic Venetian residence rises near the
old monastery of the Madonna del Pero, a small
village located in the Venetian Villas area
between Venice and Treviso.
The Villa built around the middle of the nineteenth
century in classic venetian style, and was made
famous during the great war by the illustrious
presence of Ernest Hemingway. It was here that
this great author was inspired whilst composing
some of his most important novels and chose
Monastier to have his catholic baptism.
